Producing Artistic Director
Matthew Teague Miller came aboard the Clinton Showboat after the 2014 season following directing Les Miserables at neighboring theatre company Timber Lake Playhouse. Matthew received his BFA in Musical Theatre from University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (CCM) and his MFA in Directing from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Regional Directing credits include work appearing at Triad Stage, George Street Playhouse, Timber Lake Playhouse, Spreckels Theatre Company, Benicia Old Town Theatre, Pinole Community Theatre, Lincoln Theater Napa Valley, Napa Valley Opera House and others. Some of his favorite projects include Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret, Damn Yankees, Les Miserables, The Music Man, The Fantasticks and Moliere's The Bungler.
As an Actor Matthew spent nearly three years performing with the touring cast of the Broadway production of Les Miserables where he performed with Broadway Icon Colm Wilkinson. With Les Miserables Matthew performed in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, Las Vegas, Portland, Seattle, Orlando, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and many others.
