(CLINTON, IA)—Opening night of the Showboat was Thursday evening with the first show Always…Patsy Cline. It was fabulous.

The story came from an actual meeting of a fan, Louise Seger, and a star, Patsy Cline.  The show begins with Louise hearing Patsy for the first time and becoming a fan instantly.  It continues through how Louise and Patsy met.

Throughout the whole show, Patsy Cline sings songs that you can’t help but recognize.  Patsy Cline is played by Julia K. Laskowski and she nails every one of those songs. 

Louise Seger is played by Lyndsay Sweeney and she continually brings the audience to laughter.

I won’t spoil it for anyone, but there is audience participation that is a lot of fun.

If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, I strongly suggest you get them and see a really great show!
