LEND ME A TENOR

The second production on the Lillian Russell Theater stage is "Lend Me A Tenor" directed by Craig A. Miller. You are in for a really energetic and funny experience at the theater.

This cast has the talent and timing that is necessary for this type of production to come off in the fashion it is meant to be.

The scenes are all in an up-scale hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. The anticipation of the grandest night for opera ever in Cleveland, with Tito Merelli as their guest tenor makes for a lot of tension.

The first on the scene is Maggie, by Kay Ann Allmand, the daughter of Mr. Saunders, by Mark X. Laskowski, the theater's promoter. Maggie has been engaged to Max, by Joshua Estrada, who works for Saunders.

Tito Merelli, by Will Morgan, is late in his arrival at the hotel and all kinds of havoc reeks from then on. His wife, Maria, by Alison Nicole Luff, is a hot Italian woman. She struts her stuff!

There is a lot of door slamming, who is where, and who is doing what, when? There is impersonation, lots of fun and folly.

Add to this the bellhop, by Steven Piechocki; Diana, by Jennifer Gilbert, (another opera singer) and Julia, by Nicole Horton (the stage manager at the theater) and you have total chaos!

Come enjoy a truly funny performance of "Lend Me A Tenor" playing on the Clinton Area Showboat Stage through July 5th.
